A manifesto is a written statement declaring publicly the intentions, motives, or views of its issuers.   

WHY DO WE NEED A MANIFESTO?

Let there be no ambiguity, we exist to help drive this community to be the best version of itself possible.   

CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME HISTORY?  
 
The Channel began in the mid-90s with a vision, and while the industry itself has evolved, the vision remains. What is the vision?  

For years, we have addressed this industry by the "three legs of the stool" that drives the industry itself: the suppliers, the TSD, and the Trusted Advisor. In the last five years, the industry has been forced to evolve. In early 2020, Covid hit and overnight, changed the way our industry operated. As a historically face-to-face, happy hour, and event-centric industry, we needed to adapt. We quickly learned how to manage relationships with end-user clients, TSDs, advisors, suppliers, and more via online webinars, conference calls, and video meetings. We evolved rapidly through Covid, as did many industries across the world.  

We demonstrated a great ability to pivot through Covid, and by early 2021, the industry pivoted again. Private equity entered the market by investing millions of dollars in the acquisition of the trusted advisor community. While the TA community began to see acquisitions occurring at a breakneck pace, private equity also invested in the TSD community. By the end of 2021, it was clear that between private equity and Covid, the evolution of this industry was in full swing. Two legs of the stool, the TSD and TA, had evolved.   

OUR GOAL:

The Channel Advisors™ primary goal is to support the supplier community in becoming the best version of themselves possible. Through education, assessments, coaching and more. It is our thesis that a strong supplier community is a stronger industry. When the supplier community is at its best, we are selling more with the TSD's which drives revenue. When we are driving more revenue through the TSD's, we are winning business through the Trusted Advisor Community which also cares for our end user customers.

GAP IDENTIFICATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: We bring the community together to help identify gaps and inefficiencies within the ecosystem and develop targeted strategies to address them. Whether it's improving processes, enhancing communication channels, or developing new solutions, we work collaboratively to bridge gaps and drive positive change.
